Parents Night Out FAQ:

What if I purchase a ticket to the event but then something comes up? Can I get a refund?

You can get a full refund up to 5 days before the event. If you cancel your reservation anytime up to 48 hours before the event, you will qualify for a 50% refund. Any cancellations after that will not receive a refund. Please remember we’re accounting for a specific amount of kids and the activities we are planning will be tailored to the children attending. If you reserve your spot and our coaches plan on your child going, then you cancel too soon before the event, someone else may not be able to take that spot because of the late notice, and now our coaches have spent time and resources accounting for a child who will not be there.

My child has allergies. What food will be served?

Dinner will have food represented from each respective culture. The menu is still being worked out. If your child has allergies, please reach out to coach Cherry and Mishel to discuss a plan to ensure all the bases are covered.

Is there a late pick-up fee?

Yes. The late fee is $1 per minute up to $25 for every minute after 8:10.

The event is from 5 pm-8 pm and we give you a ten-minute window to pick up the kids without a late fee.

Our coaches and staff have a schedule and must breakdown and clean after the event and if parents are late picking up their kids, we’re unable to efficiently and thoroughly get through the cleaning and breakdown process. We will not leave children to fend for themselves while our staff starts to clean which means the staff will have to stay longer after if kids are not picked up on time. Please be respectful of our coach’s time.

How old are the children going to be? What is the age bracket for the event?

Ages 4-12. Kids will be broken into three groups and they'll stay generally with kids in their own age bracket.

Can a younger sibling (younger than 4) join in?

Generally, we want to keep the youngest age at 4 years old but if a child is close to 4 and shows the capacity to follow simple instructions, Coach Cherry may use her discretion to allow a younger child to participate.

All children must be potty trained.

How can I reserve my children for the event?

You can either purchase your ticket online or at the front desk next time you're in. Alternatively, you can call us at (424) 269-1337 to secure your spot. The ticket is a digital reservation only. You will not receive a physical ticket. If your children are members, once you’ve paid for the event, we have a record of it in ZP and you’re all set. If you have one child that is a non-member, you will need to speak to the front desk to take care of the payment as well as give the child’s information and fill out the waiver.

Women’s ONLY Self-Defense Seminar

This women’s only self-defense seminar is designed for women of all shapes, sizes, ages, professions and fitness levels who would like to learn the most essential personal safety and self-defense strategies and techniques women need to know.

This 2-hour seminar is specifically focused on giving women the tools they need to confront varying degrees of threats on the sexual violence continuum. The seminar will cover, boundary setting, de-escalation, situational awareness, and the most common attacks that women face in today’s society. You will learn combatives and defenses that have been battle-tested and proven to work for anyone, regardless of size or physical fitness ability.

You will leave confident in your new skills, as you will get a chance to try them out against an attacker in a protective suit, who you will be able to strike full force and test yourself against.

The seminar methodology is about giving women a comprehensive “toolbox” of strategies to address various degrees of threats when it comes to sexual violence. Over 70% of all sexual violence is committed by someone the victim knew which means it’s imperative to learn self-defense for a wide array of scenarios.

Seminar Highlights Include:

  • Prevention Strategies

  • Mindset training to overcome the fear of aggression

  • Situational awareness skills

  • Learning how to use your body with force and power

  • Deliver decisive strikes to fatal targets

  • Overcome emotional barriers to defending yourself

  • Proven self-defense techniques to work for everyone

  • Simulation training with an “attacker” in a protective suit

The seminar will cover the needed components to be able to successfully defend yourself in a self-defense situation, such as understanding aggression and the use of it, as well as adrenaline, stress and the fight/flight response. The self-defense seminar will teach participants the basics of biomechanics in order to create force and how to realistically fend off an attacker. It will also include some basic understanding of human behavior, predatory behavior, and awareness.

The seminar is on May 21, 2022, from 12 pm to 2 pm hosted at Systems Training Center and led by one of the top Krav Maga experts, Marcus Kowal. Reserve your spot at Systems Training Center or register online. The price of admission is $49 for non-members and $39 for members.

Due to the highly personalized structure of the seminar, there are only 20 spots available, so don’t wait to reserve your spot, or spots, as this is the perfect seminar to do with a friend, co-worker or mommy-daughter!
